A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Jim attended Point Park College and earned a BA in Political Science, Cum Laude. In 1976, he earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law. Jim then moved to central West Virginia where he provided legal counsel to clients as a solo practitioner for 15 years. Jim established himself as a prominent leader in legal community. He has served as an Assistant Prosecutor, became active on Disability law and mental health law. Jim has since moved his practice to Charles Town, WV in 1991 and is a sole practitioner serving his community. Jim lives in Charles Town, WV with his wife Bonnie who is a retired family court judge. Jim enjoys hiking, golf, biking, poker and reading and is a enthusiastic fan of the 6-time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
